Fire burning for the spirit across the sea. Chasing dreams from being burned to drowning in a sea of deep wounds.. Hey, I got you. Some of you must be tired of something, huh? Hard times are often blessings in disguise. They will strengthen you.

Based on Cambridge Dictionary, go through fire and water mean to experience many difficulties or dangers in order to achieve something and based from Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, go through fire and water mean old-fashioned to do something very difficult and dangerous for someone. We can make a simple conclusion that go through fire and water is to undergo great difficulties or dangers.

Whether we realize it or not, having a hard life or life’s problems have likely helped us to develop our strengths.

Life such an unexpected way, we often come across difficult times which we don’t really know how to handle it. Maybe some of us are lost, broken (physically or mentally), hurting, struggling or survive. But how do we keep it together when we are burdened with such pain and grief? How can we ever feel alright again?

How to deal with it?

Let’s take a deep breath. After I read many articles related to this, I will make a simple way out with the hope my article can help.

1. Taking good care of yourself

Hey, this is a must! If we’re already depleted by physical and emotional exhaustion, we’re less able to handle the stresses that may come your way. That’s why we need a break. Take a rest. Turn off the phone, close the social media because to be honest it’s toxic if it’s too much :)

2. Set the goals

Back to the start, we should set goals that are personal and will inspire to reach new heights. You can find word-motivation, quotes or anything that heals. The most important thing is focus to our goals for what and why we through this. This helps create a sense of purpose that will motivate us to stop thinking and start doing.

3. Change your mindset

Believe in yourself — remind yourself daily how awesome you are :) change from “I can’t do it” to “I can do it”. It’s just a matter of perception. “You’re so busy doubting yourself while so many others are intimidated by your potential.” -@curatewellco

4. Move on

Hm.. this is the hardest part. If someone said “Move on is easy to say but hard to do” that is completely real. All those the painful memory, or feeling stuck to get out of a rut, moving forward in life is the freakin’ key! You will have to move on with your life. Don’t let difficult life situations hold you back forever. Try to let go of the emotional baggage!

5. Finding help during hard time

The last if you can’t handle by yourself, you should find your 911 :) sometimes some basic help can make a big difference because you can get some advice from people around you but remember, find the right one.

Maybe you were drowning, but nobody saw your struggle because to understand another person, we must swim in the same waters that drowned them. We have our own plan, journey and time. Take your time. Everyone have a different story. Reach your potential limits, nobody knows you’re struggling but they will see what you’ve been through. Fire burning also you’re drowning and Steve Harvey said “if you are going through hell, keep going. Why would you stop in hell?”

Just find your fire and don’t be afraid to burn bridges that deserve to fall. Life is rough so you gotta be tough. I know you’re tired, I know you’re physically and emotionally drained. But you have to keep going!
